Live Event Parent View

What & Why

During active league sessions, parents have no dedicated view to follow along. The game day dashboard is admin-only. Parents have to manually navigate to the leaderboard page to see any information. A parent-facing "Live Event" view would show their child's current court assignment, live game scores, session progress, and real-time updates — turning game nights into an engaging experience for families watching from the stands or following from home.

Done looks like

• Parents can access a live view for active league sessions from their family dashboard or event detail page
• The live view shows: which court their child is currently playing on, the current game score, session progress (game X of Y), and an auto-refreshing leaderboard snippet
• The page uses polling (matching existing 10-second interval pattern) to keep data fresh
• Works for both in-venue parents (quick glance from the stands) and remote parents (following from home)
• Non-league events (camps, clinics) show a simpler "Session in Progress" indicator with coach info and session details
• The view is read-only — no admin controls, no scoring ability

Out of scope

• WebSocket push notifications to parents (polling is sufficient for now)
• Parent-to-coach messaging during events
• Video streaming or photo sharing
• Modifying the existing admin game day dashboard
